MicroEJ Studio is a free tool used by application developers to create pure Java apps for devices running MicroEJ OS. Such devices include a MicroEJ firmware built with MicroEJ SDK. They run MicroEJ OS in multi-app mode, providing a sandboxing layer for each resident app (part of the firmware) or app downloaded from MicroEJ Store.
MicroEJ Studio provides the Eclipse-based tools used to develop apps for the targeted API exposed by a MicroEJ firmware. If app developers don’t have the hardware, they can also download the corresponding virtual device from MicroEJ Store and simulate the hardware on their development host.
