In which cases is a license needed?

Hi,
Do I need a license to develop applications in MicroEJ Studio?

MicroEJ Studio does not need a license. You can use it freely to evaluate MicroEJ or prototype sand-boxed applications.
Several boards are available in the getting started pages at developer.microej.com [1] and also in the getting started pages at microej.nxp.com [2].

N.B.: only our other IDE, the MicroEJ SDK uses licenses (evaluation or production)
