Hello MicroEJ Enthusiasts,

We recently updated the Dependency Discoverer tool. Version 3.2.0 adds the WebAssembly Dependency Discoverer. This new tool analyzes a Wasm module (.wasm file) and reports what the module needs from MicroEJ VEE:

  • the WebAssembly instructions that MicroEJ VEE does not implement;
  • the WebAssembly features that MicroEJ VEE does not support, such as multi-value or multiple memories;
  • the functions that the module imports from its host;
  • the size of each function and data segment of the module.

Use it to check a C or C++ application compiled to WebAssembly before you run it with MicroEJ VEE. It requires Python 3.10 or higher and wabt 1.0.39 or higher.

The Java Dependency Discoverer does not change in this version.
